Sky+ and paramount plus

I have a sky + box and have sky cinema. Apparently I should be able to see paramount plus series and films. I cannot. Please note that I don't have a sky q so don't have the left hand side options

They should be available to download via On Demand.

@LouJB

You should also be able to see Paramount Plus in the Sky Cinema section.

Re: Sky+ and paramount plus

@Mark39 sky + boxes don't have On Demand. Only catch up and there's nothing on catch up

Sky+ is a generic catch-all for the legacy Digiboxes, Sky+ boxes (without HD) and Sky+HD boxes.

I'm not sure that Paramount+ available on older boxes which have no broadband connection. Another Community may be able to confirm.

Edited to add: @caesarome is right, if you have access to Catch Up, you have On Demand.

Re: Sky+ and paramount plus

@caesarome @Mark39 yes but I don't actually see On Demand as an option like you do on Q boxes. I have broadband and box is WiFi connected. I should be able to see paramount programs etc in Sky Cinema or on catch up and I cannot.

Re: Sky+ and paramount plus

This has also been an ongoing problem for me.

Paramount + is a streaming service like netflix, disney etc. This is why it cannot be used with sky+.

I have been told that if you have a smart tv and can download the app then there is a way they can set up access, however after spending numerous hours on the phone to overseas agents none of them can give the correct information.

There is also the option to download the app on a mobile device and stream/airplay from that. It is just setting the account set up that is the problem. It is supposed to be free but if you are a long standing member like myself (21 years) you may not want to change to sky glass or "Q"

Its about time someone at sky got involved and set iup a page with istructions. (like thats going to happen)

There's already one here. As you can see, you can't sign up to a free Paramount+ service if you have Sky+.

Re: Sky+ and paramount plus

That's what it says as you cannot "stream" through a sky hd box.  However you can still get the "free" subscription as a sky customer

You download content with a Sky+ box so if your connection is fast enough you can start watching the content in a few seconds.

I was replying to your "you cannot "stream" through a sky hd box." comment as Paramount Plus on a Sky+ box is mo different to any other boxset or catchup content.
