Sky+Hd LNB issues

My daughters Sky has been intermittent depending the weather conditions.

She says the system is of approx 15/20 yrs old.

So my first thought was the LNB, its direction is approx 15O/155 degs.

Can anyone ID the LNB and suggest a replacement.

Yes, to enable two contemporaneous recordings, you'd need two cables from the LNB.

Re: Sky+Hd LNB issues

If the LNB cannot be identified in the photo.

Could anyone suggest a 2wire LNB for Sky+ to replace the existing or what type should be looked at ie: Universal/Wideband etc.

thanks

For Sky+ you just need a standard LNB, not wideband. It's the fitting to match the dish that will need consideration.

Re: Sky+Hd LNB issues

As it has 2 wires, would that be a standard twin lnb to allow 2 recordings
