I guess being a FTA channel GB News deemed it better to opt for a European targetted transponder, enabling a wider viewing for anyone interested outside the UK but the flip side does mean it is weaker in the UK.

As you may have noticed from the different Beam footprints the European beams do tend to fall off more in some parts of the UK, so it depends on where you are located as to whether you get reliable reception.

My motorised dish I quoted signals from,  is larger than SKY  dishes (as I use it for several Satellites accross Europe).

Providing you are not in a fringe area , I am sure a local installer can sort you & even in a fringe they could offer a larger dish (SKY  only use 2 sizes of dishes )

It is pretty disgusting that Sky won't help. Also don't keep telling me Gb news use a European transponder. I have checked (as suggested by GB news, who actually try to help unlike Sky. . Not just negative like Sky) Bloomberg and CNN are out at the same time. You cannot tell me they use a European transponder.

They do. CNN, Bloomberg and GB News are all on the same transponder which is aimed over mainland Europe and weaker in the UK.

Reading  other posts it's the same

old answer.

Perhaps because that's the correct and factually accurate answer, rather than an 'opinion' to please an audience and coincidentally evade Ofcom scrutiny ; )

Actually GB news is the least bias station. Perhaps you should give it a listen to. I certainly wouldn't listen to BBC news or Sky come to that.
im glad to have Netflix!
