Sky + HD

Sky froze, turned on and off, now saying Me now TV Unavailable No Satellite Signal. On checking signal both Lock Indicators say not locked, Network ID says Null

Turn it off at the mains for at least five minutes, though it sounds like the LNB on the dish may have fried 😞

 

Please Note: Sky+ is now a legacy/obsolete service that Sky are replacing with their newer services: Sky Glass, Sky Stream and Sky Q (Satellite TV is approaching end of life so is not a long term solution)

If it is a dish or LNB issue, Sky no longer support Sky+ and Sky+HD. You'll need to employ a local satellite engineer at your own expense to check/repair/replace it.

 

If you have Sky Protect insurance through Domestic and General Insurance you can call them but a recent post suggested they wouldn't send an engineer - but did offer the customer £65towards arranging one themselves.

 

The alternative is contacting Sky to upgrade to Sky Q (where any dish issues will be addressed or change to Glass / Stream.
