Sky HD box

I've had conflicting info from Sky. We have 2 sky HD boxes. Long story short...can we get viewing cards for the HD boxes if they go on the blink? One "expert" said they'll pop one in the post, another said no way, you'll have to upgrade. Now we don't have Sky at all as both cards are unauthorised! And we still pay £90 pm. ...for this service?

No, cards are now locked to the box they were paired to at end of October 2024

If a Sky+ box breaks then you'll need to upgrade to a newer service

What do you mean your cards are unauthorised?

Try performing a New Install (this pairs the card again)

@johnboy1965 if you mean send you a Card to replace an existing Card which has become faulty, yes they should. They won't send you a new Card to use with a new box.
