Sky+HD Box doesn't have aerial port. Is it possible to use a satellite to aerial adapter and use it? I am wondering since I have no sattelite connecters in my room. Can I just use an adapter and connect a aerial from there? Will it function just like it would with a satellite?
Thank you!

Sorry, I should have mentioned earlier that I do not have a aerial port. That's why I was wondering if I use a converter.
I'm guessing you have a SkyHD receiver with no '+' functionality.
If you have a tv in your room, you would connect the indoor aerial to your tv, not your Sky box.

Oh, that's a shame. Is there any other way to access live TV without a satellite cable?

Thank you. It's might what I have to do. The sky box was in the living room which did have a satellite connection. Since getting replacing the sky box I was wondering If i could set it up in my room. So thats probally the answer. Thank yo very much for your help though.

Do you have an active Sky TV subscription?

No. But I am pretty sure that simple satellite/aerial would still work fine? Please correct me if I am wrong.
Thanks

While devices labelled as a 'satellite to aerial adapter' do exist , they are essentially pointless. These are fundamentally different broadcast technologies, and it's not possible to receive digital terrestrial television broadcasting through a satellite dish, or satellite television through an aerial.
The small silver components are cable connection adapters (screw thread to push fit or vice-versa), not signal converters.
