Saved Recordings retrieval on spare HD

Good day people, 

In 2004 I appeared on a Sky One program called Britains Hardest, I did this to try and win £10,000 for a little girl with a rare form of eye cancer. She need an operation in Canada and I wanted to try and fund her.

As you can see from my post, the show I took part in has a very special meaning for me.

I have the show, saved on a seperate HD, but as you know it is Sky encrypted and can't be played.

My question is: If I get the show back on the HD of the Sky+ box and use a valid viewing card. Will I be able to view the show. And possibly record it to an external HD.

I appreciate anyone who can help. If Anyone is capable of doing this, please also help and I would be willing to pay you.

Maybe. There are utilities available, not supported by Sky, which it's not appropriate to discuss on the official Sky forum, and which allow you to copy recordings between Sky boxes. You would still need a Sky subscription and valid Viewing Card to be able to view the recording. Sky are unlikely to sell you a Sky+ subscription, if you don't currently have one.
