I actually need to speak to someone at sky which is impossible.

A message is coming up as this viewing card is not authorised. I have tried to do this but the card on the TV is one number and my online account is another, so i can't do anything. I think this stems from an engineer trying to install skyQ but could not, so i went back to sky+ HD.

@Karen041 yes, you're right, it's related to the aborted Sky Q installation. When you order Sky Q your Sky+ Card is scheduled for future deactivation.

 

If you have the Viewing Card which was going to be used for Sky Q you can use that. Otherwise you'll have to contact Sky on their customer services number. When the call answering bot asks why you're calling, try remaining silent and you should eventually be out through to an adviser
