Over the fast few weeks if I forget to use the 'keep' button, the recording has disappeared when I go to watch the rest of the programmeto watch. I've looked in the deleted section but the programme isn't there. Any idea why my Sky box is deleting these please?

Find out moreDownloaded programmes have a Deletion date, at which point they're automatically removed from your Planner regardless of whether or not Keep is selected. The Delection date is shown in the programme synopsis once the programme has been downloaded.

Many thanks but the programmes I am referring to were only recorded the previous evening. It's very strange!

If you are renting make sure you read the terms and conditions about time limits to view on the sky.com website.

Posted by a Sky employee@Mayella If youare putting a Keep against most of your recordings and downloads then as others have said if your planner is full then the box has no choice to delete content that does not have a keep against it and is viewed (even partially viewed) to make room for new recordings.

I have had movies disappear from my planner. They were not downloaded to rent. Just gone into my planner to play "Brave" for the grandkids. They watch it every time they visit but it has disappeared. I tried to download again and guess what,,,you now have to pay to rent. Checking back I also downloaded "The Accountant" and thought I had deleted by accident. Then found this was also available for rent.
looks like sky have a delete button for movies it decides to change from free to pay for
😖😖😖😖

Movies n Sky Cinema have expiry dates, if you want to keep them forever then use Buy and Keep to purchase a digital copy that never expires

Even if they are just regular recordings and downloads?
