Question on adding new pin then some channels not working

Hi

 

My dad forgot his pin no on his sky box and i had to put a new one in it worked and then it said Request was succesful your channels will  be available shortly, but that over half an hour ago anyone know hw long it takes.

Don't recognise that message in relation to resetting your PIN. I've seen it when you're trying to pair a Viewing Card - but as you know, you can only pair your Viewing Card to your existing Sky box. You can't pair it with another box.

You'll have to call Sky, then. So far as I'm aware, changing your PIN, if that's what you tried to do, doesn't affect continuity of viewing which the message you posted suggests.
