If you cancel multiroom then the channels you will be able to view on your second box in your bedroom will be the free ones only from the likes of the BBC, ITV, CH4 and CH5 and others. You also will be unable to record, pause or rewind.

What you could do is to call them and explain about your situation and explain that you are struggling to pay for your package to see if they will offer you a discount. If they do then the chances are it will come with an 18 month contract, you should also be aware that there is a price rise coming on 1st April. Don't be talked into upgrading to Sky Q if you don't want to as you don't have to.
