Turned on TV this morning message saying problem with sky viewing card please check and insert correctly done this worked went to change channel and lost everything message repeating itself the chip in card looks like it has been damaged

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out moreIf the Card has a brown mark around the gold chip, it's normal. Give the Card a wipe with a dry cloth and reinsert it. If the message persists, you'll need to give Sky a call, I'm afraid.
