Problem with Skybox

- Picture on tv is pixilating when watching something that has been recorded

All are main;y white, however input 1 and 2 signal strength are probably 80% white.  Would this be the reason my video recordings go funny?  It only does it on recordings - not on live TV.  

Do I need a new box? and if so, do Sky supply it?

You use a different dish input when watching live over recording, you need to check the signal strengths when recording, but I suspect a dish alignment to be the cause of the picture issues

 

You would need to employ a 3rd party engineer to check your system due to the reasons outlined below

 

Edit: You could try unscrewing both dish cables, swap them over then screw them back in (finger tight), to see if that resolves the issue

 

Please Note: Sky+ is now a legacy/obsolete service that Sky are replacing with their newer services: Sky Glass, and/or Sky Stream.

 

Satellite TV is on its last legs and is being replaced due to the lack of any new satellites being launched to replace the existing ones that are at the end of their service

@Walt5 also, if you go to your Planner, is there any failure error shown against any of your recordings?
