Picture constantly disappearing but can still hear sound

My picture keeps disappearing but I can still hear the sound? If this doesn't happen the picture freezes and can still hear it. Happens every time I'm watching something

Live, recorded or both? You've posted in the Sky@ forum - can you confirm it's a Sky+ box that you have?

Yeah sky+ I have broadband and just normal live channels

As you haven't said, I'll assume this affects both live programmes and recordings.

Try turning both your Tv and Sky box off at the plug, then disconnecting the HDMI cable and swapping the ends over before reconnecting. After switching back on, wait to see if the problem.recurs.
