I have tried to download films from paramount + via on demand, however when downloaded the content is scrambled, we have sky cinema, so should be able to view this. Does anyone know how to fix this?

@caesarome @GD1 @jamboe hi all thanks for your help with this. I phoned sky and they said paramount plus wasnt available on the sky + boxes, but have upgraded our boxes for free and lowered our monthly costs.

hi @GD1, it's like it's in the wrong order, the ones I've downloaded start normally then 15 mins in went to end credits, then showed another part of the film (e.g from the middle).
I've tried restarting the sky box etc as I thought it may be due to paramount being a new feature, but the same happened again when I downloaded the film (had deleted previous one from planner before downloading again).
just wanted to see if anyone had any suggestions before I tried ringing customer services.

Hi @caesarome thank you for the update. Is there a link to how they fixed it on the sky Q boxes?
I will email them to inform them the same issues are on the sky + boxes.

I'm not sure if it has been as it was only reported on this forum on Saturday or Sunday I believe.

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out moreSelected Paramount+ content is available on Sky+ boxes so it sounds like you go through to someone who either didn't know this or was more interested in getting you to upgrade.

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out more@Grantir Be aware that switching to Sky Q won't solve your initial problem. The issue lies with how Paramount have supplied the content. (That said, it's likely that the issue will have been fixed by the time you receive the Sky Q box).
Hopefully, you are aware of the differences between Sky+HD and Sky Q? and that you will lose access to all of your existing recordings on your Sky+HD box.

I have exactly the same problem on my Sky+ box.

What programs/movies are scrambled? I can have a look through the app on Sky Q and see if it works or not.

@LGUser Cold Moutain is one that scrambled.
I am in the process of downloading one now "Clear and Present Danger" I will watch this evening.
A wee bit of an experiment, I normally start downloading the film and start watching when it is available, I will try a few downloading completely to see if they scramble.
I have also started accessing Paramount + through Catch up TV as opposed to through Sky Cinema.
