Our Sky+playback and recording are unavailable.

We have followed the advice of clearing the deleted programmes and have done the planner rebuild and turned sky off & on.

@Dancer1 the error message will tell you where the problem lies, typically either the Planner (unlikely if rebuilding your Planner didn't help) or more likely the Hard Disk Drive.

@Dancer1 they'll tell you you have to upgrade to Sky Q or Stream.

 

You could try a full System Reset which might restore normal working. It will however remove your recordings.

Thanks for your advice.. would prefer not to do full reset as don't want to lose recorded stuff.

If you cannot record/playback you have already lost your "recorder stuff"
