I have aligned my dish but now I can only get sky channels (sports, news, showcase etc). On those chanels the signal is good and the quality is very good. However on BBC, itv, channel 4 & 5 nothing no signal at all.

Most likely your dish isn't aligned correctly. A Sky engineer or a local satellite installer will have the professional equipment needed to align your dish accurately.
