Old Sky hd multi room box

Ive got a 2TB Sky Q box in my living room. I recently had to cancel my broadband and won't be getting it back (personal reasons)

I can't cancel Q TV for another 14 months as I'm still in a contract.

I would like sky in my bedroom but I won't be getting the net back ever so I was wondering is it possible to get my old HD multiroom box out and get an engineer to wire it up to my dish outside, would I get the free channels still on it?

This is my old bedroom box

The standard Sky Q LNB on the dish is not compatible with non-Sky Q boxes

@kazwilko

Sky won't provide any help or book their personnel to do that: it's really nothing to do with them (even if you are planning to use an old Sky+ box) because there's no subscription involved. You could certainly employ an independent satellite dish installer.

No you shouldn't need a Viewing Card to receive the FTA channels.
