Hi I need a little help folks.
My mum has had a her sky box since 2009 and it has worked fine until recently she has been losing some of her her channels. The code that comes up is 36.
Can anyone let me know if they did any of the following:
1) Rescan the box will it fix it because its a 15 year old box perhaps it no longer gets updates since it was connected via phone line? As we are talking about literally 'Sky' not Sky HD so its a ancient box.
2) Bought a second hand sky box to address the issue since she gets some channels not all so at least to me its not the dish thats the problem.
Much appreciated for any tips folks

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out more@October1984 Definitely the best option would be to source a second hand Sky+HD box. Look for a DRX890 or DRX895 model as these got the last of the updates.
