No Satellite Signal Sky+

I gave Sky+ in my house. We have a satellite dish. Sometimes the TV receives a signal for a few hours during the day but it doesn't during the night. Most of the time it displays a NO SATELLITE SIGNAL message. When I click Services on the TV remote and go to Signals it says Not Connected or NULL

@SyedShah2

Sky no longer support Sky+ and Sky+HD. You'll need to employ a local satellite engineer at your own expense to check/repair/replace the dish if it's a dish or LNB issue.

If you have Sky Protect insurance through Domestic and General Insurance you can call them but a recent post suggested they wouldn't send an engineer - but did offer the customer £65 towards arranging one themselves.

The alternative is contacting Sky to upgrade to Sky Q or change to Glass / Stream.

Interesting!  The current https://www.sky.com/help/articles/sky-protect-frequently-asked-topics states

> What do I get?

> Sky Protect Device Insurance will insure all your Sky equipment, plus two devices if your have Sky+ HD, or three devices if you have Sky Q.

While https://www.skyprotect.com/ does not offer Sky+, only Q.  Presumably too arduous for Sky to update what is covered/offered....

skyprotect.com is not a Sky website. I can only guess that it doesn't specify Sky+ as it's no longer sold. It might be available, perhaps, to existing Sky+ customers opon request.
