I'd recommend using an Ethernet cable to cnnect the two, otherwise if you want wifi then you'll need a seperate wifi access point that connects to your Sky box via ethernet
Sky used to sell wifi connectors that used the USB port and one that connects via Ethernet but this was before they made Sky+ obsolete. You can find them secondhand on places like eBay etc..
