I AM USELESS WITH TECHNOLOGY SO PLEASE HELP. HAVE JUST BOUGHT A NEW TV AND IT HAS NO SCART SOCKET FOR MY SKY+ BOX. SHOULD I JUST PURCHASE A NEW CABLE THAT HAS BOTH A SCART AND HDMI ON IT AND WILL I GET MY SKY BACK ON?

If your new TV has a socket called HDMI and your Sky box does as well then you will need a HDMI cable to connect them up.
