My sky box has not worked after a thunder storm i havre tried all normal fixes

Sky box stopped working after a lightning  storm I've tried all normal fixes the led light on front right comes on red for a secound then tursn green but nothing works

@Frodo2  If you have Sky+HD where you have posted, Sky nio longer support these boxes so your only options will be either move to Sky Q or move to Sky stream.

Like you I'm a customer here, Sky Employees are clearly identified as such.

Have you tried the fix here: https://www.sky.com/help/articles/sky-plus-box-stuck-on-standby

 

I doubt it will resolve it, to be honest, but anything's worth trying. If it doesn't help, it looks as though your box has been 'fried' by the storm. If so, you'll need to speak to Sky about moving to either Sky Q or Sky Stream.

Note that it's no longer possible to move the Viewing Card to a different Sky+ HD box acquired elsewhere.
