My Sky remote control isn't working. I have internet but the TV is stuck on ITV

Have ypu restarted your Sky box? Turn it off at the plug for 4 minutes.

Hi @Gary591 just to confirm - this is Sky+, not Sky Q or Sky Stream? Does your remote still change,the volume on your TV (assuming you had previously programmed it to do so)?

Hi Yes it is Sky + and Yes it controls the Volume only. It does not respond to the menu command or the programme up and down button. There is no red LED light either? Thanks again Gary

It sounds as though the remote may have failed. You can check by pointing the end of the remote at the camera on your mobile, and pressing one of the buttons that controls your Sky box - try the blue Sky button. If the remote is working, you'll see pulses of white light on your mobile's screen.

Just to check, now as you have rebooted the Sky box, is it stuck on channel 998 rather than ITV? If it's still on ITV that suggests the TV in on the wrong input.
