My Sky TV +HD box isn’t working

I've tried to reboot (two or three times) but the box won't connect to my TV

@Barrie47 if there's an HDMI cable plugged into your Sky box at one end and your TV at the other, they're connected, hence our confusion. 

 

Does the power light on the front panel change to green when your turn the box on? Is there a picture/sound? Is your tv set to the correct HDMI input for the Sky box connection? Tell us what's not right.
