Multi room not working

I have Sky+ HD but second box (multi room) will not receive the paid channels. All works fine on the main box!

I have tried switching off and on, doing a software update on the box and reactivating the viewing card (several times) all to no avail.

I have also tried contacting Sky by phone but wait times are generally excessive.

Can anyone help?

I have the exact same issue... basically guides me to go to sky viewing help. This happened all of a sudden in last few weeks

@Tom35 Seems to be an issue that can only be fixed remotely by Sky. Options are to phone them (possible long time on hold) or contact via Sky community. I resolved the issue by starting a new discussion which was the elevated. Altogether took about an hour, but at least your holding on the phone.

To get you some help with this I have escalated your post to the Sky Messaging team who should be in touch with you regarding this via a blue/red chat bubble which will appear at the bottom of this page. It can take up to a few hours to be contacted via this.


This link explains how this works so you need to respond to the chat bubble at the bottom of the page:

I also have this issue, when I called on Wednesday 20th September they said that they would send a new viewing card but it hasn't arrived yet, can the sky people on here get the card i have working?

You'll need to get Sky to send the new card as usually the old one gets cancelled
