Move with Sky+ HD Box

We are moving to a new house that already has a Sky dish. We have a Sky+ HD Box - do we need an engineer visit to connect to that old dish? I can't get the Chat Robot to answer the question, it's booked me an engineer visit but keeps talking about Sky Q. Thanks

That being the case, you can connect your box to the existing cables yourself 🙂 and inform Sky of the change of address on your account

Is the dish on the new house a Sky+ dish or a Sky Q dish?

Just to check - have you been able to confirm that with the current home owner? A Sky+ dish and a Sky Q dish look the same.

@TommyB504

As @Mark39 indicates, it's the same dish: what matters is the LNB (receiver horn)

If the current occupant is using Sky Q through a standard Sky Q LNB then your Sky+ HD box will not receive a signal.
