Can a Sky minibox DRX595 be operated with a magic eye, in conjuction with an IO Link device? I have been unable to view any 'RF2' options without one plugged in. Would a connected IO Link open the option for this? If it can be done, would the HDMI output still work?

Just for clarity a DRX595 is a diskless SkyHD box (no '+'). A Mini box works with Sky Q.
I haven't seen IO Links mentioned here for years! Yes, an IO Link will work with a magic eye. It simply replicates the RF2 functionality provided on other Sky+ boxes, but provides limited current, so will only support one, directly connected magic eye (no splitter).
You should find the settings in the hidden Installer Menu which I think from memory is accessed on a SkyHD box in the same way as other Sky+HD boxes, by keying Services,0,0,1,Select.
The HDMI output is unaffected.

Re: Magic eye compatibility
Thank you Mark - much appreciated. I've already tried 'Services, 0, 0, 1, Select', but no RF2 option appeared. I assume the IO Link when connected will unlock this. Tje box is on a bar, & I want to put it out of sight. The delivery to the TV is provided via an HDMI modulator & coax

Hm...not sure about that. I wouldn't have thought the box would be smart enough to detect it. Maybe the settings are elsewhere within the menus.
