Linking Sky+HD box to wifi

I have followed the gide to Settings etc etc, BUT nothing onscreen to help in working out what next.   Someone has suggested I need a Wireless Connector, but what is that and where do I get one (If I do need one)?  House wifi is wih BT and works well in all rooms

@DSB1 if your Sky box doesn't  have a WPS button on the front panel, it has no on board wifi capability, hence you need an add-on wireless connector. Sky long since stopped providing the, but you might find a used one on ebay etc. Or you could connect by an ethernet cable instead.

If your Sky box does not have a WPS button (indicating built-in wi-fi) then you'll need to provide your own compatible wi-fi adaptor or use an ethernet cable to connect to your router

Do a web search for "Sky+ Wifi adaptor" should give you the needed details

Thank you for your prompt relpy.I have now been told that I do already have a wireless connector and it is plugged in.   (Forgive this mildly foggy-brained pensioner with Parkinson's - not as sharp as I used to be.)

Have found and printed off the guide to connection that you mentioned, which is lovely except I cannot get to the Network page that offers the options to conect with the WPS button or password or WPS PIN.  

Any thoughts as to how I can best move forwards from here?

I think (hope) that the problem is solved.  Checked all connections (incl phone line); turned evereything off; toook out the viewing card. Counted to 50, then put the card back in.  Turned things on againand let everything boot up (or whatever), then checked settings etc.  

It appears that the broadband conection is restored and working.  Not sure how or why - which is mildly disconcerting -  but thanks for your help and support in finding a way through.
