My QuadLNB was replaced as it became faulty by third party,not sky.I would like to know whether the engineer should have waterproofed the connections at the terminal, even though they have a pull on sleeve cover at connection terminals to stop the ingression of water directly.

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out more@carson The pull down cover works well on it's own, I have a Hybrid LNB with the same type of cover and it has coped well with all manner of storms 🙂
