LNB replacement

My  QuadLNB was replaced  as it became faulty by third party, not sky.I would like to know whether the engineer  should have waterproofed the connections at the terminal, even though they have a pull on sleeve cover at connection terminals to stop the ingression of water directly.

@carson  The pull down cover works well on it's own, I have a Hybrid LNB with the same type of cover and it has coped well with all manner of storms 🙂

Like you I'm a customer here, Sky Employees are clearly identified as such.

Re: LNB replacement

Have you proven its the lnb and not been caused by a pre-existing cable issue
