How to upgrade from SD to HD?

I have a 2004 Sky Digibox and earlier in the year received a messaged saying to call a number to upgrade to HD if I want to continue watching BBC, ITV, Channel 4 etc.

I called the number and it couldn't be recognised.  I called Sky and was told to ask here instead. Please help! Not sure where to go from here.

@tstrliz  Your only option will be to get Sky Q as even if you manage to source a Sky+HD box Sky won't pair your existing viewing card to  the replacement box.

You would need to call Sky to upgrade.

Like you I'm a customer here, Sky Employees are clearly identified as such.

You  now need to move over to Sky Q, Sky Glass or Sky Stream as Sky+ and earlier boxes of all varieties are now legacy/obsolete

https://rxtvinfo.com/2024/sky-ending-free-upgrade-offer-following-channel-switch-off/

Sky is terminating the last batch of subscribers who haven’t upgraded to a newer satellite receiver and withdrawing the free upgrade offer in the process

Seems a little bit harsh, in my opinion....

I think they probably mean cancelling subscriptions rather than actual termination; )
