High rise apartment issues with sky box

Hi when I moved into this high rise flats I already had a sky + box but wasn't getting all the channels and signal kept drifting and sky didn't seem to know how to solve the problem. Eventually I found out there are communal engineers so I asked if thy could sort this issue with my sky+ box ? A guy came and said this old building has only one feed  and sky+ box needs switching to this single feed ?? He used the sky remote to do something with the sky+ box and everything was perfect when he "switched it over" does anyone know what he did to get my sky+ box working properly ? I wish I'd of watched what he did but I didn't ?

Yes, he will have turned on Single Feed Mode in your Sky box settings. The setting is in the hidden Installer Menu, which you can access by keying Services,0,0,1,Select on your remote.

Yes, just use your remote and press those buttons then you will see the single feed option.

Be sure not to try out the other options in the Installer Menu, unless you know what you're doing!
