Hi. Could somebody tell me why i cant select the search box above tv guide?

I can't select the search box above TV guide. When I press select it reacts as though I've pressed the back up button. No issues selecting anything else.

When searching you don't need to select the search box as you just need to start typing the first few letters of what you are looking for as it will automatically go to the box.
