Help getting replacement viewing card

Our sky account is active and being paid for but we have not received a replacement viewing card. A sky engineer came out and said that this was what was required to restore service but unable to find a way to ask for one.

You won't be able to get a replacement viewing card for Sky+ any more. It's an obsolete service which Sky no longer sell or support. 

You will most likely be encouraged to switch to Sky Q if you contact Sky.

@KATED3 are you sure ypu have Sky+? There's no engineer support for Sky+ boxes.

An engineer turned up to install sky q but said it wasn't worth it the equipment was too old and we needed a new viewing card instead

That from the engineer makes no sense. They should have replaced the dish and cables if they're unserviceable and the Sky Q box would be a different, up to date box anyway. That's all part of a normal Sky Q installation. There's no equipment that would be too old.

 

I'd be complaining to Sky.
