I want to add SKY Sports 1 and 2 at minimal cost; I am in my Eighties

You can call on 150 from a Sky Talk Line or Sky Mobile.
If you haven't got a current Sky Mobile or Sky Talk this link should help:
(UK) https://www.sky.com/help/home Scroll down and click on ‘Need more help’ and it provides a 0333 number
(ROI) on the same link change the flag in the very bottom corner to the ROI flag to obtain an 0818 number.
Stay on the line and don’t hang up if prompted to. Apparently the quieter times to ring are just after 7am or about 9pm.

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out moreThere haven't been a Sky sports 1 and Sky Sports 2 for years. You could consider subscribing to the full Sports package.

I just saw an offer that I could upgrade to Sports 1 and 2 - inceassing my subscription from é135 per month to é141 per month - but a tag on indicated an additional package I didn't want.
I find this stlye of communication quite impossible - which is why, as previously, I'd seek to speak to someone - if only I had a contact numner that would respond to my mobile. Is that a lot to ask?

Both @Annie+UK and @GD1 have provided links that lead to a phone number.

when I phone 0818 ****** number from a mobile it rseponds 'this number is not recognised' - i think because 0818 prefix is a landlline free call service.

and btw I'm finding it difficult to keep abreast of these intendedly helpful replies; never sure where or when they're going to pop up; and all I want to do, as before, is talk to someone - whicj seems quite impossible.

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out moreI'm not sure of the Customer Services operating times in Ireland. You may have to try again on Monday as I believe they are closed over the weekend.

Thank you for your courtesy Daniel
'does not recognise this number' seems at some remover from weekend break.
Was hoping to upgrade to take in Rugby coverage SKy Sports 1 on Sunday!
Life only gets more complicated as I reach into my Eighties; It's a jungle out there - not least in USA
