Re: Failed downloads
The drive on my Sky+HD box is more than half full and has been that way for some time - one reason being that I still have the entire last season of "The Black List" recorded and unwatched and about five seasons of "Justified" (though all of those in SD, not HD).
General day to recording and time-shifting tends to be in HD, but that tends to get watched and deleted in relatively short order.
The free space is currently about 47%, but that really shouldn't cause any problems. Given that you, Oddie2004, had the same problem at the same time as I did, it's hard to conclude that this wasn't a problem at the Sky TV server's end!
Anyway... fingers crossed, eh?

Re: Failed downloads
I think it's an intermittent problem, mine was doing this about six months or a year or so ago and I was on a thread on here about it, then it suddenly was ok and then just last night it started doing the same again, message on tv says broadband is not connected to on demand even though it is connected to Sky box, last time it happened it was just in the evenings so anything I was watching I downloaded in the morning and it was ok, I couldn't rely on the automatic download of series so a bit inconvenient, I just tried to download just now and it was ok so similar to last year.
I am finally moving to Sky Q now, getting it next week as price was going up and it seemed so unreliable so have finally just decided to upgrade, hope it works ok
