Old Sky Box

We have an old sky Box, the model is Sky +. We recently got a new Tv in our bedroom and don't want to pay the Sky Q Multi room subscription, would the box work ok?  Would the free to air channels work?  (could we also take our sky q viewing card and put it in there when we use the box?)

It will not work as the bit in your dish called the LNB has been changed to accommodate your Sky Q box so the Sky+ one can not be connected to it.

We have 2 dishes, one of them is a Sky + one

If you connect the Sky+ box to the Sky+ dish, it will be able to reveive the free to air channels.

Replace the Sky+ box with a Sky+ HD box ... SD channels are being switched off🤔
