Downloading BBC programmes

I’m having a problem downloading BBC programmes on my Sky+ HD box. This has been happening for over a week. Every BBC programme I try to download gives the message: “There appears to be an issue with the broadband connection at this time.”

Other channels download normally, so this appears to be specifically affecting BBC On Demand. I understand other Sky+ HD customers are reporting the same problem.

Please can you confirm whether this is a known technical fault with BBC downloads on Sky+ HD and whether it is being investigated?

We are customers here so you are not talking to Sky.

The work around for this is to not use the search but instead go through the BBC tile and go through the options here.

On your Sky+ box go to the Catchup menu, then select BBC and go from here to find whatever you want to download. If you then press the right arrow with BBC highlighted on the left you will see more options.
