Does anyone know why my Sky+HD box is trying to access Chrome on my laptop?

This morning Norton security on my Macbook started alerting, telling me that my Sky+HD box was trying to access Chrome on my Macbook. I blocked each attempt twice identified as Sky+HD and once as IP address, this repeated so I've permanently blocked.

Sounds like a Norton glitch to me. I can't see any way your Sky box can access your Macbook.

As @Mark39 says, that's not going to be an 'access' attempt, but it's certainly possible that the Sky box is sending out broadcast network traffic.

Out of interest, are you running Sky Go on the Macbook?

No Sky go isn't on the MacBook.

Thanks, the warnings only started this morning, looking at Norton the last update was this morning, so this reporting is something that's probably new. I wasn't using Chrome at the time, nor was I using SkyGo. I can't imagine a need for the access.
