Re: Dish fell off roof
@Kazper1 Sky no longer support Sky+ so you would need to employ a local satellite dish installer.
How did you cancel your subscription? The only reason you wouldn't be able to get through is if you cancelled a direct debit and Sky can't take payment.
Is this what you have done? If so cancelling your direct debit does not cancel your subscription.
If you have cancelled a direct debit you need to reinstate it and pay anything that is due.
Your dish falling of your roof is not an excuse to not pay.

Re: Stopped paying
@Kazper1 If you've stopped paying why would Sky contact you? Your service would just be restricted.
Why did you stop paying?

Did you really cancel your subscription or did you just cancel your payment method (which would explain why you can't now call Sky)?
Why do you need to call Sky as it has already been explained that they no longer support Sky + set ups. You need to employ a local satellite company to repair or replace your dish at your own expense.

Re: Dish fell off roof
I didn't cancel without trying to get in contact, I called, emailed and had the automated helpline for a month before canceling. (Hours of my life I'll never get back!)
At no time was it ever explained that they don't help customers with Sky+ anymore.
I don't think it's reasonable to expect me to pay over £100 per month for something I don't receive, especially as I spent hours trying to get help.

Re: Dish fell off roof
@Kazper1 it sounds as though while you've been in contact with Sky about the dish, you may not have actually cancelled your subscription (cancelling your means of pay,ent doesn't cancel your subscription).
If that's the case, you'll continue to be charged until you call to give the 31 days notice required to cancel. However, you won't be able to cancel or even speak to Sky if there's an outstanding payment.
