You own the cables once theyre installed and I know a lot of Sky/satellite and other services cables are isnatlled on the outside of hosues and can look quite messy, if you dont need it anymore then you can certainly remove it entirely. Just be careful when removing acble clips as they can be quite diffuclt to remove so make sure you use pliers as sometimes bits of mortar/render can come out. Also amke sure to fill in holes in the wall with mastic or filler, if not then cut the cable back directly to the wall.
