Connecting with an eero 6e router

I have just had fibre broadband connected to the house with an eero 6e router.  I have been trying to connect my sky+ box but am having difficulty as it will not accept the password.  Is it because I can only do it in capitals and the one saved to the router is in lower case?  Or is it something more technical.  I am not good with these things so would really appreciate some help please.

Good practice to change the routers default password, but you can use lowercase n the Sky box just keep pressing the number for the letter required it will eventually cycle to lowercase

Or press the WPS buttons on the router ans Sky box and you'll not need to enter the details 🙂

Thank you for your reply.  I will try to get the lower case but apparently it is more technical than that.,  I have done some research online and eero routers do not use WPS.  I am a technophobe so not good at these things but I am sure that someone on here must have had the same problem and will be able to help me sort this.

That's correct: eero are really quite hot in this.

eero does not support WiFi Protected Setup (WPS), as it has well-documented security issues. We also do not support older encryption standards like WEP, WPA, or WPA2 TKIP.

Unfortunately I don't recall if Sky+ HD uses WPA2 TKIP or WPA2 AES
