Do you see a "No signal" or "No satellite Signal" message?
If you're not getting any channels it has to be one or the other, as pointed out in previous replies deactivation of a card would still allow FTA channels (BBC, ITV, CH4, Ch5 etc) to be received.
If you have a "No satellite" signal then your dish needs realigning, Sky no longer support Sky+HD boxes, you would either need to move to Sky Q or Sky stream or get the services of a local installer to re-align your dish.
A "No signal" message is your TV telling you you've selected the incorrect input for your Sky +HD box and you need to scroll through the inputs on your TV remote to select the correct one.
A No signal or No satellite siugn message does not mean Sky have removed your services.

We just lost all signal, they just disabled our SKY box card at their end, so no more correct decoding of signal, I assume.
That's an incorrect assumption, and not technically possible on Sky+
Sky has however removed subscription service from non-HD Sky+ boxes because there's no longer a broadcast signal which those few remaining antique boxes can receive and so it would be inappropriate to continue billing: that's been advertised on the boxes themselves for more than a year.

I don't think the OP is listening, presumably because it doesn't fit their agenda.

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out more"No Satellite Signal" is an error generated by your Sky box, it has nothing to do with broadband (Internet connectivity) and usually indicates an issue with one or more of the following:
You may have to call out a local satellite installer, unless you already have Sky Protect insurance, to check/fix your system, another option is to move to Sky Q, as during the move all issues will be resolved as part of the install, there is also the option of Sky Glass or Sky Stream, if you want to move away from satellite TV and use the Internet

• The Dish is misaligned (not all transponders are getting through, thus some channels may be affected and others not)
• The Tuners in the sky box
• The input sockets on the Sky box
• The plugs on the cables
• The cables themselves
• The Sockets on the dishes LNB
• The dishes LNB has gone faulty for the connections the box is using
• You have plugged your Sky+ box into a dish that is only compatible with Sky Q
Please Note: Sky+ is now a legacy/obsolete service that Sky are replacing with their newer services: Sky Q (all issues will be fixed during a Sky Q install), Sky Glass and Sky StreamYou may have to call out a local satellite installer, unless you already have Sky Protect insurance, to check/fix your system, another option is to move to Sky Q, as during the move all issues will be resolved as part of the install, there is also the option of Sky Glass or Sky Stream, if you want to move away from satellite TV and use the Internet
... and whether the box is SD or HD🤔
