Code for connecting replacement remote to LG tv

I requir a code number to connect a replacement remote  to an LG tv. The SOny equivalent is 0000.

We have had a Hisense 43A6BGTUK for some years, and it took some doing but some time ago I managed to find the code 0563 for the Sky+ remote to control the Hisense TV.

All was well until a couple of months ago when the remote down arrow button totally failed to work, so ordered a new Rev 10 remote from eBay.  0563 wouldn't work, nor would any of the other codes on the websites work. 

Thought it may be because it was a cheap generic remote, so ordered a genuine Sky remote via Amazon.  That arrived today, again couldn't get 0563 or any other code to control the TV volume etc.

Just scrolling through the remote related posts on here, saw your 0206 code for the LG TV, and thought "it's gotta be worth a try" - problem solved first time.  So 0206 workks for a Hisense 43A6BGTUK too!  👍👍
