Can’t get help from sky
Hi, I'm hoping I can get some help here. I lost signal to my sky hd box approx 6 weeks ago. Every time I call sky customer services they tell me I have a sky q box - I do not. I have a sky hd box. Sky sent an engineer to my house to service my box, when he came be said he couldn't help as he cannot service hd boxes. He was given a worksheet to come service a sky q box, I've told sky at least 10 times I don't have a q box. I tried to upgrade to a q box online but I get a message to say unable to process your request and to call customer service. When I do they tell me I have a q box and the circle of frustration and getting nowhere starts again!

Re: Can’t get help from sky
I've moved your post from the Talk forum, as it's unrelated to Sky's landline (Talk) service.
The cause is most likely a fault with your dish or cables. Unfortunately Sky no longer provide engineer support for Sky+ equipment unless you have Sky Protect, so you'll need to contact a local satellite engineer to take a look.
If you wish to upgrade to Sky Q , you'll have yo persevere with Sky's customer services, I'm afraid.

Without that mistake, no-one would have been sent: as @Mark39 indicates, Sky no longer offers support for Sky+ HD (which hasn't been manufactured for a decade)
