CALL CENTRE

Am I hearing things?! I just rang the usual Sky Customer Services number only to be told "We are closed right now to deliver our team essential training". The whole of the UK customer help team gets training sessions all at once? Is there a fault on the line maybe?

I've tried calling as well get the same response my sky multi room not working at all no sky in any room and can't speak to any one looks like I'm going to be changing  after 30years not good

Totall unacceptable, not even any advice on when the team will be back yet. EE have offered me a buy-out to transfer to them early for TV-Broadband. Then they found a catch. They said Sky would be entitled to keep my landline number that I've had for years, long before I joined Sky broadband. Can this be true, I am tied into Sky BB-landline forever or just change my landline number .  I could ring Sky and ask them...................😠

Yes, in some cases a number can't procedurally of technically be ported to another provider. It's not a question of Sky being 'entitled' to keep it (what value would it be to Sky if they held on to it?).

Hi FastTravk1966, I'm having the same problems too. I found a few numbers for them and you can get support and someone will answer if it's to do with your mobile account, otherwise everything else is down at the moment. I was calling to do with my broadband and then it says the thing you mentioned and then just hangs up the call. So annoyed with Sky! Anyways hope we both manage to speak with them today. Ash 😘

do we know when they will come back? My autistic son needs access back to the broadband and it's down, need to call them to fix it as there's only so much we can do as a backup. Tried phoning just now and still closed.

Well I've had landlines for decades and the only time I had trouble porting was when Talk Talk lost my number. Maybe the process has changed, not for the better.

I rang again on the day in question at about 19:00. Got an overseas operator who had no knowledge of any training or outage in the UK. Best bit, at least she could answer my question 😀
