My sky + box keeps freeing and I'm getting really FED UP WITH IT. I'm bed bound and I have to wait for someone to come in and sort it out. Bring back the old days before we went digital PLEASE!

Yes, every time. And it happens a lot and very frequently too.

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out moreIt sounds like your Sky box's hard disk is failing. You could try rebuilding your Planner as described in the link below. If that doesn't help (I doubt it will) the next step is a full System Reset from the same link. Just to warn you, the latter will erase your recordings.
If neither resolve the problem, you'll need a replacement box. Sky no longer support Sky+ equipment but you can obtain a used replacement box cheaply from ebay etc. Look only for a DRX890 or DRX895 model and expect to pay around £30.

It seems to have reset itself now, but it freezes to frequently for my liking. I find it very frustrating as I'm stuck in bed 24/7 and rely on the tv all the time.

If TV is critical to you and you require access to Sky subscription channels you should consider changing to a Sky supported service either Sky Q or Sky Stream OR to Freesat if you only require access to FTA channels☹️
