Booking an Engineer home visit

Can I arrange for a Home Visit by a Sky Engineer to check on my LNB in the Sky Dish, as I believe it maybe outdated?..... or Faulty?.

i lost my mum on 3rd February 2025, so her house in Soham, Cambridgeshire laid empty for nearly 5yrs, but there was no Sky Equioment here to view any Programmes.

i have found a Very Old Sky + Box manufactured by Thomson, but am getting  " No Signal " from the 2 wires attached to the Sky Dish

A past Sky Engineer has reliably informed me that the 2 wires in question are not up to standard, as he had difficulty to strip the wires with a Top of The Range (Sky Apprived) Strip Wire Tool.

I would like to only get a New Sky Q Bix and woukd be willing to only have a Sky Essential Subscriotion to start off with

Can you help me out??

@Duncan0305

You'll need to call Sky to move to Sky Q or change to Glass / Stream.

@Duncan0305 when you sign up to Sky Q, your dish and cabling will be inspected and replaced as necessary at no additional cost to you, as part of the Sky Q installation.
