Alibi on demand not available

I try to download alibi on demand programmes to told I need to upgrade, I cannot find anything to upgrade to?

@Jonathan+hall2  Are you downloading the hd version when you don't have the hd subscription?

I know not to try and download the HD channels, this us just alibi on demand, no mention of HD.

@Jonathan+hall2 There are likely to be two on demand versions one hd and the other SD

 

if you press service's button go to options then go to customise and press select followed by page down 

 

what is on demand download format set to always ask or sd only if the former change to the latter and save changes then try again

That won't help me download the channel, it'll just remove the HD option.

At least it will answer the question asked by @SKY1992bf that is are you trying to download the HD version when you haven't got the HD package on your account.

Delving further this looks to be due to a need to change to sky signature, something I'd never heard of before, any advise?

I would advise trying what I've suggested first if you haven't

I've done the customise and still says upgrade required.

Are you trying to download a programme that is in the box sets section? This would require an upgrade if you don't have access to box sets

It is from episode 2 season 4, seasons 1 to 3 and episode 1 of season 4 all downloaded. I've got a telephone number I'll ring tomorrow to try and tidy the issues up. Thanks for your advise.

@Jonathan+hall2 You don't say what the actual program is, so it's difficult to check.

Presumably, though, you are on the old Sky Entertainment Package which needed the additional Box Sets add-on in order to watch Box Sets. Do you have this?

Upgrading to Sky Signature (the new base pack) would negate this as it includes Box Sets as standard.

Format

I just had the same issue, looked on here and changed the HD format as suggested and it worked. 

Under the programme you are downloading it has a format option. Click onto it, change from HD to standard, go back and download.
