The ICC Women’s T20 World Cup 2026 is coming to free‑to‑air TV on Sky!

For the first time, key matches from the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup 2026 will be available free‑to‑air, making it easier than ever for fans across the UK to follow the tournament, support the home nations and discover the excitement of women’s cricket.

What’s new?

Sky Sports will make both the opening match and the final of the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup 2026 available free‑to‑air on Freeview via Sky Mix.
That means:
  • The tournament opener: England v Sri Lanka at Edgbaston (12 June)
  • The final at Lord’s (5 July)
Both can be watched without a Sky subscription. Sky Mix will also show the group stage match between Scotland and Ireland, ensuring the opening games for all the home nations are available to everyone.

Watching without a subscription?

Sky is also widening access beyond traditional TV. All 12 home nations group matches, plus both semi‑finals and the final, will be available to watch without a subscription on the Sky Sports app.

The England v Sri Lanka opener will additionally be shown on:
  • The Sky Sports YouTube channel
  • Sky One
  • Sky Sports linear channels
This multi‑platform approach means fans can tune in on their TV, phone, tablet or laptop.
